Xavi Bové
Vice-president
Xavi Bové is an artist and educator. He designs audiovisual experiences, shaping reflective spaces that invite us to pause and perceive deeply. Driven by the tension between the organic and the digital, and between tradition and innovation, his work explores time, memory, and perception. Through a variety of mediums and techniques such as light art, immersive experiences, or video mapping, he seeks to awaken a subtle yet profound awareness: of ourselves, of others, and of our connection to nature and the world around us.
With a background in Telecommunications Engineering in Image and Sound, alongside postgraduate and master's studies in audiovisual arts, his hybrid profile combines technical precision with artistic sensitivity. His works have been presented at events worldwide, including the Noor Riyadh Light Art Festival (2024), the LUMA Arts Festival (USA, 2020), and iLight Singapore (2019). He has also worked for institutions such as Es Baluard Museu d'Art Contemporani or Barcelona's Sagrada Família.
Currently, he is the director of the Bachelor's Degree in Digital Arts and the Master of Science in Digital Arts and Creative Technologies at La Salle Campus Barcelona, Universitat Ramon Llull.
