Anna Diaz Ortuño
With a degree in Audiovisual Communication and training in Barcelona and Berlin, Anna is an artist and co-founder of the artistic duo known as Hamill Industries. After starting her career in cultural management, she focused entirely on creation, specializing in multidisciplinary works that explore the convergence between analog and digital technology, and expanded audiovisuals.
Their most characteristic trait is a perspective deeply connected to the analog and the physical world. Through their studio, they seek to bring digital creation toward a tangible formalization, researching and developing tools in their own workshop-studio. With a ten-year career, their practice combines digital techniques and physical processes to create highly sensory videos, installations, performances, and live visuals, where material and sensory experimentation define their aesthetic. Currently, they link this artistic innovation with transdisciplinary projects between art and science.
Anna combines her creative side with teaching audiovisual processes at various institutions and conducting international workshops, sharing her perspective on her unique working method.
