Sonia Puerto Fuentes

Sonia Puerto holds a Master's Degree in Philosophy for Contemporary Challenges from the UOC, with research focused on the impact of artificial intelligence on creativity and new models of algorithmic mediation in artistic processes. Her research is particularly oriented toward the challenges of documenting, conserving, and preserving digital artworks.
She is the Project Manager at Gnomalab Estudio, where she coordinates the development and production of immersive installations, site-specific interventions, and light, laser, and video mapping art projects for festivals, cultural institutions, and brands, bridging artistic direction with technical management and production. She combines this activity with managing R&D&I projects at the LEITAT Technological Center, which provides her with a cross-disciplinary vision of the relationship between technology, innovation, and contemporary creation. Her interest focuses on the preservation of digital heritage and the development of strategies to ensure the conservation of artistic practices based on emerging technologies in the face of technological obsolescence.
